About ARAKIGIKEN's technology
What is pipe burring?
Our core technology, burring processing,
A hole is drilled in the main pipe, the edge is raised, and a collar is formed.
The branch pipes are then butt-welded and plug-welded to form a branch, which is then plastically processed.
The base material can be integrated without using joints, reducing the weld length and risk of leaks, and the smooth R with small internal steps reduces pressure loss. The R at the base also reduces stress concentration.

story

First President / Katsuteru Araki

Former Factory Manager / Takeyuki Oikawa
Pipe burring processing in Japan comes from shipyards in the west and Araki Giken in the east.
It has been passed down through the generations.
During the period of rapid economic growth, a major joint manufacturer suggested that in the future, they would branch out without using T-type joints.
There will be a need. Is there a way to do this?”
The previous generation found inspiration in the holes and seats of the flute, a wind instrument.
At a time when plastic processing was not common, he worked day and night on development together with the former factory manager, Oikawa.
Day and night, they tried again and again to find the ideal welding point and a unique method to reduce pressure loss.
Burring processing was born.
Now in its second generation, the company continues to inherit the efforts, techniques, achievements and heart of the past.
By utilizing the latest technology and data, we aim to improve processing quality, stability, capacity,
We place emphasis on scalability and respond to the needs of our clients in detail.
The words of my predecessor - "Masanori, you should become a person who is useful to others" and "Plumbing is like blood vessels in a human body" - these two are the unshakable foundation of my craftsmanship.
Thanks to you, we have reached the 50th anniversary of our company's founding. We believe this is all thanks to the support we have received from everyone. We would like to express our sincere gratitude.
Today, society is moving away from mass production and mass consumption due to the maturation and aging of infrastructure, and the advancement of cutting-edge facilities such as semiconductors and energy.
There is a definite shift towards "high performance, high efficiency, and high application."
That is why we have always tried to carefully interpret the given theme, work closely with our customers, and come up with a solution that fits seamlessly into the actual situation. All of our employees value this value and strive to do work that is meticulous down to the smallest detail.
We will be thorough.
To continue to be of service to you in the future
